We invite you to join us for our next Feeding 500 program on March 20, 9:00am to 12:30 pm, which will be a day of learning food safety and culinary skills while preparing nutritious foods for local food banks.

About the event

All  participants will earn a ServSafe Food Handler Certification from the  National Restaurant Association at the end of day while contributing to  the preparation of at least 500 servings of dips and jerkies to provide  nutritious and delicious snacking options  for local food bank clients.   This program is open to those  16 years and older and is a great opportunity for anyone interested in  food service workforce training.

This program is free for all participants thanks to generous support from the Culpeper Foundation Fund!  To register, please fill out  the form below.  Please note that we have limited space in this program,  so please only sign up if you are fully committed to actively  participating in both the classroom and food preparation  portions of the day.

Please note that the certification offered through this Feeding 500 program is geared towards food handlers.  We do also offer ServSafe Manager training for those that need a Certified Food Protection Manager Certification.  If you need the Manager certification, more details on those course offerings through VCE can be found at the link below:
