Our Feeding 500 events bring the community together to prepare and distribute hundreds of nutritious, locally sourced meals for neighbors facing food insecurity. Hosted at the Carver Center, these hands-on events engage volunteers, farmers, and partners in large-scale meal production that directly supports local food access efforts. Each event not only provides immediate nourishment but also strengthens community connections, builds food system skills, and highlights the power of collective action to care for one another. On February 4th, we will be making Applesauce from local apples (from FT Valley Farm). On February 18th, we will be making two types of granola- using freeze dried fruits from the summer!
