The Central VA SBDC and the Carver Food Enterprise  Center are offering a workshop!

We'll start with a how-to on business  plans and then jump right into a few available options - such as mobile  food businesses (e.g., food trucks,  catering) and selling your product in retail markets (e.g., grocery  stores, online, Amazon, etc.). In addition to the expert advice of  CVSBDC, the workshop will feature two experienced folks from the field:  Tom Kelly, the owner and operator of Crustworthy, who also has twenty  years of experience in business, and Hope Lawrence, who helps guide food  businesses to success in retail through her company Small Batch Empire  and work with the Community Investment Collaborative.
